ABOUT THE POSITION:

**This is for an experienced technician, if you don't have experience we still would love to have you apply for our Restoration Technician - Entry Level position.**

If you want a place where you can teach, lead, grow, and build an experience in taking care of homes and being part of a team, you want to become a restoration technician for Flood & Fire Solutions.

As a mitigation technician, you will provide essential services that help restore homes and businesses after a disaster has occurred. This includes learning restorative drying, selective deconstruction, construction cleaning, and basic construction.

You will also have opportunities to represent Flood & Fire Solutions in interacting with customers face to face.

We act quickly to minimize property damage and save personal belongings. Our main goal is to make the experience as painless as possible for our customers and the contractors we work with.

Both in the field and written training are provided to help you succeed.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work in emergency water damage mitigation services (extraction, drying, and documentation).
• Work on emergency fire/smoke services (deodorization, pack-outs, board-ups, and securing structures).
• Respond 24/7 to emergency situations when on call. (this time is compensated well)
• Represent Flood and Fire Solutions professionally through honesty, compassion, and hard work.
• Protect and clean furniture, carpet, and any other affected contents.
• Assist in cleaning and maintaining equipment.
• Complete job safety assessments and uphold safety standards on job sites

MUST BE ABLE TO:

• Be available for rotation on a 24/7 on-call calendar for emergencies
• Climb a ladder
• Lift 50-75 pounds regularly.
• Work in confined spaces.
• Work with and around a variety of chemicals. (If you have sensitivities to cleaning chemicals this may not be the role for you.)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION:

• High school or equivalent
• Driver’s License
• No criminal history
• Must pass a drug test
• Reliable transportation preferably a truck (Milage will be reimbursed)
