Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Associate Principals play an important role in researching and developing client recommendations as part of project teams; primary responsibilities for the position include the following:
- Leading targeted secondary research (e.g., desk research, secondary data analysis) and primary research (e.g., interviews with key opinion leaders / insurance payers) as necessary, and training project teams on how to perform these responsibilities independently
- Synthesizing research insights to develop logical and effective client-ready recommendations
- Independently running multiple projects simultaneously, handling day-to-day client-facing responsibilities, and ensuring all deliverable deadlines are met
- Working closely with junior team members not only to ensure project delivery goals are met, but also to train staff on best practices and guide professional development
- Working closely with senior team members to present findings to clients and address any additional questions
- Developing a book of business to generate sales, both as follow-up work to existing business and as independently-sourced leads
- Developing high-quality client communications and deliverables (e.g., PowerPoint slides, Excel models)
- Communicating verbal and written information in logical, clear, and concise fashion
- Taking a big role in contributing to the firm’s capabilities and infrastructure, leveraging knowledge and expertise in specific disease areas or project types
- Supporting the development of a high-performance culture by being a role model for junior staff
Qualifications
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- At least 4 - 5 years of experience at a life science consultancy, with experience running multiple projects simultaneously and demonstrated history in successful project delivery
- Experience with business development, project sales, and revenue generation (preferred)
- Undergraduate with working experience or advanced degree (preferred) from a top-tier institution with a relevant concentration (e.g., business, economics, life sciences, engineering) and strong academic record
- A strong passion for—and understanding of dynamics and issues in—the pharma and biotech industries
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

EVERSANA is committed to providing competitive salaries and benefits for all employees. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $168,000 to $235,000 and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). EVERSANA reserves the right to modify this base salary range at any time.
