This position contributes to the success of the Company’s energy efficiency programs in support of state clean energy and climate goals. Duties include forecasting program performance, providing input on planning for future programs, and developing communications for both internal and external stakeholders.
Essential Functions
- Maintain benefit-cost models to ensure that programs are meeting regulatory requirements.
- Conduct analyses to determine cost-effectiveness of individual technologies, programs, and overall offerings, making recommendations on whether program offerings should be added or dropped.
- Coordinate with members of the evaluation staff to ensure that evaluation results are incorporated in all program reporting and planning.
- Generate monthly performance reports and provide ongoing analysis of program performance, helping identify areas of potential program improvement.
- Assist with generation of year-end earnings forecasts.
- Complete ad-hoc data requests for internal and external stakeholders, including analyzing the data and providing conclusions or further context as necessary.
- Assist with generation of materials for annual regulatory filings at the Department of Public Utilities.
- Prepare monthly reporting for the MA Energy Efficiency Advisory Council.
- Monitor state policy developments and project impact on programs.
Qualifications
Technical Knowledge/Skill:
- Extensive spreadsheet/database experience. Ability to translate complex datasets for a lay audience.
Education:
- Requires a bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Engineering or related discipline.
Experience:
- One (1) plus years’ experience in data analysis.
