What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine/Lamination Operator position at Everstaff?
EverStaff, a specialized recruiting firm, is actively searching for potential candidates for Direct Hire positions with one of our top clients. These positions entail direct employment with the client that offers exceptional work culture, benefits, PTO, and growth potential.
Pay Rate: $18.00/hr. - $20.00/hr.
2 Shifts are available: Weekend 12 hr - F, S, Su or 12 hr - rotating M-Th
JOB SUMMARY: To produce products that meets or exceed standards in quality and output levels.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Operate lamination equipment to produce high quality laminated profiles
- Oversee and monitor assignments and crew members
- Monitor product quality and make adjustments as necessary
- Maintain proper housekeeping/safety
- Issue and apply correct barcodes
- Train laborers in setup and other required duties
- Follow production schedule
- Maintain accurate shift reports
- Maintain and care of production equipment/raw materials
- All other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Good Mechanical Ability, Judgement, Planning, Organizing, Oral Communication, Working Under Pressure, Ability to lift 50 lbs, Ability to be moving and bending between 8 and 12 hours daily.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School Education or GED, minimum 6 months previous experience as a machine operator or other mechanical experience.
