The Warehouse Lead is responsible for a wide variety of warehouse activities, including the below listed responsibilities. The position requires advanced experience and the ability to teach and implement on the job trained skills and activities.
Minimum Qualifications
- A working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general business computer software aptitude to learn new software applications at a level normally acquired through completion of a high school diploma or related field or equivalent experience; and
- 5 years' experience in warehouse environment
- Ability to learn and teach new tasks and adapt to a fast-paced work environment
- Ability to interface with multiple departments and provide direction to warehouse employees
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Must have the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Dedication to 100% safe work environment and culture
- Responsible for coordination of overall warehouse operations and daily activities of staff
- Contributes to the development of processes and procedures
- Oversees inventory levels, monitors the safety of goods and ensures efficient use of warehouse space
- Operates applicable systems to update inventory status and respond to stakeholder's inquiries
- Coordinates transfer of raw materials, parts and finished products between various production areas and external warehouses
- Monitors data on current orders, production levels and production forecasts
- Attention to detail on all aspects of work
- Encourage open communication with all staff and pursue process improvements and efficiencies while maintaining a positive work environment in the warehouse
- Support inventory management, document control, and basic data entry
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Offering: $24 - $29 per hour
