Full Job Description
SUMMARY:
- Creating and processing invoices
- Cross-checking invoices with payments and expenses to ensure accuracy
- Managing a company’s accounts payable and receivable
- Sending bills and invoices to clients
- Tracking organization expenses
- Processing refunds
- Working with collection agencies on overdue payments
- Communicating with clients regarding billing and payments
- Maintaining accounts receivable, document bills and supporting documentation
- Maintaining accounts payable, ensure timely payment of invoices, confirming validity of the debt and gathering appropriate signatures
- Updating financial records via accounting software
- Gathering payroll expenses and input into appropriate entry line
- Preparing quarterly budget under the purview of senior management
- Analyzing financial statements and prepare balance sheets

Title: Accountant
Work Schedule: Full-time/Exempt. Scheduled a minimum of 40 hours per week; Work schedule is contingent and determined by business needs.
Reports to: CFO
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidate must be 21 years of age or older.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Marketing preferred. (Equivalent combination of education/experience may be substituted for Degree.)
- Candidate must have a at least 5 years’ experience in operation of a RV Park, Hotel or other closely related retail industry. Or, possess 5 years’ experience as a retail manager, hospitality manager, and can verify a high degree of experience managing complex businesses with multifaceted operational goals.
- Experience in construction, maintenance, landscaping/lawn care, or other applicable competencies is preferred.
- Candidate may be required to drive and must be able to operate a motor vehicle in a safe and responsible manner.
- Candidate must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and meet company Insurance requirements.
- Candidate must be able to successfully pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Candidate must possess great communication skills, both verbal and written, along with the ability to deal effectively with people in multifaceted work environment.
- Candidate must be able to follow and enforce all safety guidelines and be familiar with and follow all Tribal, Federal, and applicable Washington State laws pertaining to marina and convenience store operations.
- Candidate must be able to work flexible shifts (all days of the week) and hours, holidays, and special events if necessary.
- Candidate must be able to respond to work during emergency situations.
- Prefer experience in service and hospitality industries.
- Knowledge of Federal, State, and Tribal laws pertaining to operation of an enterprise on Indian trust land.
- Valid driver’s license

- Must pass a criminal and financial background check.

COMPENSATION
Pay rate at annual salary. Benefits package includes personal time off (PTO) (accrual rate determined by years of service). Professional development opportunities are available contingent upon funding and approval.
