Homemaker
The homemaker performs the combined duties of dining services, activities, housekeeping and laundry. Assists with serving resident meals, snacks and nourishments. Performs housekeeping duties to maintain cleanliness and neatness of household surroundings.
Minimal Education:
High school diploma or GED desirable but not essential.
Minimal Experience:
Experience in skilled care or residential services for the elderly desirable.
Other Qualifications:
Food handling certification (ServeSafe or equivalent) essential or ability to obtain.
Successful completion of Feeding Assistant Training or ability to obtain within 120 days.
Completion of cross training for household housekeeping, household laundry, household activities and dining services essential.
Competency testing essential.
Able to operate department specific equipment and to use cleaning products appropriately.
