We are looking for Aircraft Maintenance Planner

As an Aircraft Maintenance Planner, you will manage the development and implementation of required aircraft maintenance processes in support of aircraft flight test operations. You will also work with design, manufacturing, quality, and flight test engineers to develop the Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM), and assist in creating task planning and forecast tracking tools covering both planned and unplanned maintenance in support of the Alice flight test program.

This is a contract to hire position

Responsibilities

  • Establish the aircraft maintenance planning process to prepare, issue, and audit maintenance work packages and their completion.
  • Forecast and coordinate the scheduling of all planned maintenance requirements of flight test aircraft.
  • Assist in creating a database to: Monitor aircraft maintenance forecast, manage work orders and Maintenance Tasks.
  • Ensure required maintenance planning is issued, performed, and documented in support of aircraft operations and testing.
  • Maintain a log of all maintenance and operational information including aircraft repairs, modification and serialized component substitutions or replacements.
  • Provide oversight of aircraft maintenance and repair status and advise operations and flight test management of any irregularities affecting the maintenance schedule and or aircraft readiness.
  • Work with Maintenance, Quality Control and Stores to ensure personnel and materials are in place for maintenance and/or repair work to be issued.

Qualifications

  • Experience with the development of document and planning systems, related to aircraft maintenance or operations
  • 3 years' experience in aircraft maintenance (A&P License/QC experience preferred)
  • Extensive knowledge of aircraft systems and structures
  • Working knowledge of aircraft maintenance and repair manuals (i.e. AMM, CMM, IPC, SRM, MPD, CPCP, SSID, NDT).
  • Computer experience with Aviation Databases, Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Experience with requirements development, project management, including schedule and anomaly management.
  • Ability to work harmoniously in a high-performance team environment
  • Capability to operate in a collaborative and cross-functional environment
  • Excellent oral/written communication skills
  • Authorized to work in the US
  • In order to be qualified for employment at Eviation Aircraft, you must comply with the Covid_19 vaccination requirement

Desired Experience

  • Bachelor of Science in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or related field
  • 3 years' experience in aircraft Maintenance Planning (121 - Airline).
  • 3 years' experience development, and testing of aircraft and systems
