We’re looking for a thorough QA Developer. Is it you?
QA Developer is a logical person with enough knowledge to get his/her hands dirty with the latest QA technologies. You should be able to design and implement a proper test plan, should be quick at debugging and defining corrective actions. You will be involved from the beginning to review client requirements and find out the breakpoints/vulnerabilities. You know unit and integration tests before the client release to ensure the product runs smoothly and meets the client’s needs.
In a nutshell, you should monitor all stages of the software development life cycle to identify and resolve all the potential bugs/showstoppers. You can also suggest smart enhancements.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end to end project or release testing. (From requirement analysis till production)
- Create a detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Classify the test cases and decide which should be part of the regression test.
- Submit the testing summary report to leads, managers, and directors.
- Work with the release coordination team in deploying application code to different environments.
- Work may occasionally require unusual hours (evenings/weekends).
- Daily scrum with internal team members, leads and business team.
- Create software testing documentation and update existing documents.
- Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools.
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
- Automate the assigned testing tasks.
Skill Requirements
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes. (Sanity / Smoke / Regression testing.)
- Know API and UI automation.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.
- Solid knowledge of CQL, SQL, and Linux commands.
- Know the basic level of Java, Spring-boot, Selenium, TestNG, and JUnit.
Qualification and Experience
- BTech or MTech in Computer Science or a related technical discipline(or equivalent)
- Minimum 1- 3 years of experience in QA methodologies, tools and processes(Sanity/ Smoke/ Regression testing)
