Our company is seeking a dedicated Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across our premises, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for our staff and visitors. This role involves a variety of tasks, including operating cleaning machinery, managing cleaning supplies, and adhering to safety guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Ensure proper use of cleaning supplies and equipment through training and supervision.
- Operate various types of cleaning machinery and equipment.
- Adhere to company guidelines and policies regarding food safety and operational safety.
- Complete special projects or additional duties as required.
- Maintain cleanliness of all floors by sweeping, scrubbing, and mopping.
- Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper disposal of waste.
- Service, clean, and restock all restrooms.
- Clean glass, windows, and walls as needed.
- Work in low mid 30 degrees for short periods.
- Take monthly inventory of cleaning supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the janitorial room.
Qualifications
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery and equipment.
- 1 year experience in Janitorial duties
- Bilingual a Plus
- Experience in janitorial duties and cleaning techniques.
- Ability to work in low mid 30 degrees for short periods.
- Availability to work weekends when needed or scheduled.
Physical Demands:
- Constant and up to 100% standing, walking pushing, stooping, kneeling, reaching overhead
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
