Title: Advanced Registered Nurse Practicioner (ARNP)

Evoke Wellness operates a collection of free-standing detoxification and residential substance abuse treatment facilities, with locations in Florida and Massachusetts with upcoming facility opening in New Jersey.

Overview
The ARNPwill be responsible to assist the Medical Director provides substance abuse services. The function of the ARNP is to assist in ensuring all clinical programs are safe and appropriate to the clients’ specific issues, drug of choice, and medical history. ARNP will direct and coordinate medical services and care in coordination with the Medical Director with other areas of the organization while making reasonable accommodations to ensure clients are as safe and comfortable as possible during their stay.
Essential duties:
1. Perform complete history and physical examination and or initial psychiatric evaluations to each new client within timelines stipulated in the facility policy and procedure manual and in accordance with BSAS licensing standards.
2. Assists the physician in providing medical protocols.
3. Makes recommendations for follow-up services that reflect the findings or risk factors discovered during medical assessments.
4. Ensure that clients are referred to specialists when the medical needs of a client cannot be met by the providers of the addiction treatment center.
5. Assists in the monitor and ensure the provision of all prescribed drugs and medically necessary pharmaceutical services.
6. Assists in ensuring that drug utilization reviews are appropriately conducted and documented as outlined in the policy and procedure manual and to specifically indicate the use/do not use abbreviations list and look alike/sound alike medications.
7. Maintain policies and procedures to ensure the Clients' right to confidentiality of medical information.
8. Ensure that client's rights and responsibilities are communicated these to agency clients and providers.
9. Maintain procedures for monitoring the coordination of care provided to clients, including but not limited to all medically necessary services delivered both within and outside the addiction treatment agency.
10. Maintains an effective clinical organizational structure and delegates appropriate authority for the completion of assigned responsibilities.
11. Assists in developing plans for Performance Improvement.
12. Assists in developing cost-effective methods to provide medically necessary therapeutic services.
13. Facilitates communication with ancillary services.
14. Attends clinical and administrative meetings to integrate inter-departmental sharing of information.
15. Collects and records data in a comprehensive accurate and systematic manner.
16. Evaluates the impact of therapeutic interventions upon the therapeutic milieu.
17. Demonstrates knowledge of program policies and procedures and develop new policies as needed.
18. Shares pertinent information with team as obtained from patients or family throughout program.
19. Collaborates with the medical staff to provide medical and nursing care.
20. Attends daily patient staffing and flash meetings.
21. Manages compliance with established nursing care standards.
22. Continues with educational courses and in-services training, per policies and procedures
23. Updates knowledge of community resources on a continuous basis.
24. Demonstrates objectivity and maturity under stress.
25. Responds positively to changing situations in the work setting.
26. Ability to work as a team member.
27. Demonstrates good communication skills.
28. Manages in a professional manner and role-models a positive image of mental health.
29. Reports abuse of patients’ rights immediately.

Qualifications
Education for Advanced Registered Nurse Practioner:
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
Experience for Advance Registered Nurse Practioner:
- One (1) or more years in the substance abuse treatment industry.
- New Nurses Welcomed
Licenses/Certifications for Advanced Registered Nurse Practioner:
- Current licensure as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practioner in the state in which you work.
- Current CPR Certification
