Job Description

The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for providing overall HR support to the studio. This includes but is not limited to FMLA/LOA tracking, workers compensation, engagement support, HRIS maintenance and employee relations support.

• Responsible for personnel administration i.e., tax forms, employment engagement forms, health insurance, termination documents and other required documents;
• Ensure upkeep of data related to employee vacations, Sickness Leave, Bereavement Leave and Maternity Leave;
• Assist in gathering data for weekly/monthly/annual KPIs;
• Upkeep of multiple data systems;
• Organize both hard and soft documents and files;
• Keep all documentation up to date;
• Data entry
• Employee relations - Act as main point of contact for HR related situations and queries to sustain healthy employee relations;
• Work alongside the HR Manager to towards the general development and improvement of the employee experience and overall satisfaction;
• Create and develop meaningful relationships with all members of staff, acting as a communication portal and hub for information sharing.
• Participate in HR Department projects;

Qualifications

• Support management and team members with employee relations issues, escalate more sensitive issues as needed
• Act as an advisor to management on HR policies, procedures, and legal updates
• Lead investigations in matters of alleged harassment and/or discrimination
• Provide counseling, review and approve corrective actions and terminations
• Manage employee leaves including: FMLA, LOA, and Military 
• Manage ADA process, including all requests, approvals/denials and recertifications
• Managers workers compensations claims
• Work alongside the HR Manager to towards the general development and improvement of the employee experience and overall satisfaction;
• Create and develop meaningful relationships with all members of staff, acting as a communication portal and hub for information sharing.
• Participate in HR Department projects;
