Evolver is seeking a Computer Systems Engineer/Architect (Applications Engineer) to join a program to support a government client.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
The Computer Systems Engineer will support an important program chartered to deliver enterprise IT operations with a focus on network infrastructure monitoring and management services. The position will focused on providing analysis and support for the client's cloud-based application services.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
Basic Qualifications
- 8 years of experience with:
- Managing high-volume (more than 1M messages per day) SMTP relays and the Proofpoint mail security system
- Diagnosing mail delivery issues through several layers of security using only logs
- Monitoring and managing mail routing using an LDAP directory
- Working knowledge of the various operating systems (e.g., Windows, OS X, Linux, etc.) commonly deployed in enterprise networks. An understanding of Windows Active Directory and LDAP principles and implementation strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in information technology or related disciplines; or have equivalent and direct experience in working as a network security analyst in security operations and/or in handling, responding, and managing computer security incidents.
- Active Top-Secret Clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills and ability produce clear and thorough security incident reports and briefings.
- Strong organizational and attention to details skills
