RESPONSIBILITIES
- Package finished products into bags or bulk containers using semi-automated packaging equipment.
- Transport and load finished products using an industrial lift truck.
- Spot railroad cars and locate them at appropriate position utilizing a mechanized rail car mover.
- Perform minor maintenance duties on packaging equipment.
- Brace and place tonnage for all railroad cars and trucks.
- Replace baghouse filters as required by Maintenance Schedule.
- Receive and stock shipping pallets and product bags.
- Inventory of packaging supplies and finished products.
- Daily housekeeping for Packaging Area.
- Operation of Ink Jet Printing System, Automated Palletizer and Stretch Wrapper.
REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Warehouse or Manufacturing experience preferred.
- Satisfactory completion of all defined self-study and Process Specific training requirements for the Packer Classification.
- Satisfactory completion of On-the-Job Training requirements
- Environmental, Health, Safety and Quality Systems training (ISO9000 / 14001), GMP and Responsible Care Training.
