The primary responsibilities for an Environmental Compliance Technician are:
- Conduct environmental compliance testing at gas stations;
- Comply with safety guidelines at all job sites;
- Tactfully deal with customers while at job sites.
The desired qualifications for an Environmental Compliance Technician:
- High School diploma or equivalent is required;
- 2-3 years experience: Testing tanks and lines, Performing monthly and annual inspections, and Troubleshooting skills for water entry;
- Veeder-Root certified;
- Cathodic Protection (CP) credentials;
- OSHA 40;
- Confined Space;
- Military background is a plus;
- Ability to lift 80 pounds;
- Clean driving record;
- Excellent verbal and written communication and documentation skills;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
- Ability to travel;
- Flexibility with working hours depending on the operational needs of the company; and
- Mechanically inclined preferred.
