Ad Agency Project Manager

EVR’s Project Manager works with creative and account service personnel to provide direction and supervision of agency workflow and production. The Project Manager meets with members of the creative and account services teams daily to facilitate smooth day-to-day project operations and ensure that deadlines and budgets are met. Regular adjustment of scheduling and consistent communication is a priority. The Project Manager’s work identifies functional opportunities, delivers solutions and fosters a positive team environment.

Tasks:

• Track, monitor and guide all jobs through account service, creative and media using EVR’s project management software, Function Point. Ensure job schedules and task lists are accurate and up to date while proactively solving challenges that arise.
• Communicate with all departments on the status of jobs to ensure efficient, on-time and on-budget workflow. Build relationships with team based on trust and respect.
• Assist in the development and oversight of EVR project management processes and identify opportunities for improvement to increase agency efficiencies.
• Keep the account team up to date on the health of their projects in terms of budget and hours.
• Allocate job assignments to entire team and communicate with account services, EVR Media Group (EVRMG) and creatives regarding bandwidth availability.
• Monitor employee timesheets, ensuring they are entered timely and accurately. Manage employee goal utilization including reporting, insights and planning.
• Act as agency point person for Function Point job management system, including the onboarding of new employees and supporting ongoing usage for all. Explore features within Function Point and stay current on the available features of the platform.
• Maintain purposeful pursuit of professional development to stay up to date on pertinent topics, bring new ideas to the team and foster personal growth. Read articles and industry news on agency business operations, project management and new innovations for work productivity.

Qualifications:

• BS/BA degree in Marketing or similar and/or equivalent experience
• 1-2 years managing multiple projects, preferably in an agency setting
• Pro-active, solutions-oriented self-starter who can motivate others while remaining flexible
• High attention to detail and ability to keep many balls moving at one time
• Not afraid to speak up to get the job done while remaining team focused and positive
• Experience using project management software; extra points for knowing Function Point or being ready to jump in with both feet to learn it
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Fluency in Microsoft’s Office Suite (especially Word and Excel)
• Comfortable corresponding in person, over the phone, on chat and via email
