Description
Position Summary
Quality Inspectors are responsible for creating documentation pertaining to component inspections and review of contract documentation to determine inspection capabilities. A Quality Inspector examines components assuring drawing requirements are met as well as other contract documentation that may be specified on component drawings. Quality inspection includes but is not limited to measuring and understanding tolerances and drawing requirements for components. Quality Inspection may also include Non-Destructive Testing of welds or material through various techniques. Results are then documented and reported. The components are then moved forward in the manufacturing process, or placed on hold, pending final disposition of a non-conforming condition should one exist.
