Senior Contracts Administrator/ Business Development Operations

Position Description:
The Senior Contracts Administrator is responsible for the lifecycle of all Contracts. The Senior Contract Administrator oversees projects performed in partnership between one organization and another. Will be responsible for coordinating every aspect of the project from reviewing and approving contract terms to coordinating deadlines, approving budgets and more. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, detail oriented, and the ability to manage multiple complex projects with a high degree of accuracy to support the overall business objectives. Works independently with little supervision and productively in a team environment. Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to engage and communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Draft and revise a variety of contracts with customers to include NDAs, Teaming Agreements, etc.
- Ensure the organization's internal contract documents are accurate and well maintained
- Meet with customers to discuss both legal and business matters
- Managing the Contract lifecycle, including but not limited to draft, modification, execution, amendments and renewal of Contracts
- Preparation and review of all contract documentation, including master agreements, statements of work, renewals, amendments, etc. with the appropriate vendor(s)
- Provide advice and guidance to the different teams relating to contract generation
- Maintain excellent working relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met
- Create, prepare, review and edit all contracts
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes and devise plans to implement these changes
- Oversee, and build relationships with vendors and subcontractors.
- Intervene and resolve problems, delays, and evaluation concerns.
- Create strategies to reach contract objectives and build network.
- Write, review, administer, update, and report on contracts
- Ability to manage multiple projects that involve a level of complexity with financial/operational risk.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in contract formation, contract administration and management, contract claims and disputes resolution
Business Development Operations
Under the direction of the Director, BD operations, the BD Operations Specialist will assist the BD team in the identification, qualification, and capture management of federal government programs and international opportunities. This includes managing orders tracking and reconciliation, key DoD and international pursuit administration, and capture gates review oversight. This role supports the daily BD activities by helping to maintain continuity and situational awareness with all account leads and their BD directors who are frequently on travel or work offsite. They track both individual opportunities being pursued by the BD team members, as well as the overall performance of the BD organization.
Qualifications:
- Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree
- Eight years of experience in Contracts Management, supply or procurement-related fields
- Four years focused on drafting and negotiating technology contracts and supplier management.
- Strong business reporting, project management, and both verbal and written communication skills
