Job Summary:
The Trimmer plays a crucial role in the post-harvest handling of cannabis products within our facility. This position involves meticulously trimming, weighing, packaging, labeling, and ensuring the overall quality of the products. Additionally, the Trimmer will assist with harvest and cultivation activities as required.
Responsibilities:
- Perform efficient debucking of flower from plants to maintain product quality.
- Hand trim and/or operate trimming, sorting, and packaging equipment to process flower.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Exhibit focus and attention to detail during prolonged periods of trimming and post-trim upkeep.
- Record and monitor the amount of unusable waste and usable by-products for each plant/batch.
- Demonstrate proficiency in weights, measurements, and mathematical calculations.
- Foster open communication with the management team and colleagues.
- Adhere strictly to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), verbal directives, training protocols, and company policies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in trimming or post-harvest handling, preferably in the cannabis industry.
- Familiarity with cannabis trimming, sorting, and packaging techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with strict attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Willingness to adhere to all regulatory requirements and company policies.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods.
- Capable of performing repetitive tasks with precision.
- Comfortable working in an environment with exposure to cannabis products and related materials.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in cannabis trimming or related field.
- Experience with various trimming and packaging equipment.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
