Job Description
The Project Manager will take responsibility and accountability and responsibility for the complete delivery of an entire project in terms of schedule, budget, and quality specifications. The project manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, upholding policies & procedures to meet financial targets and schedules set for project.
Duties
* Responsible for planning, execution, and final sign off of a project within budget and on time
* Works closely with engineering, demand planning, production, and logistics to ensure that that the project is on track to meet the delivery requirements. This role will be expected to manager more than one project at a time
* Responsible for developing and maintaining a project plan, manage progress of the plan, and assess the impact of schedule variations
* Responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the mechanisms to monitor, manage and control the project delivery
* Review scope and project documents in close collaboration with the Operations & Account Managers along with regional sales manager
* Identify appropriate resources required for product commissioning and training if needed
* Represent the organization when dealing with suppliers, contractors, and customers
Qualifications
* Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or Project Management
* Minimum of five years of experience in large construction project environments
* Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) strongly preferred
* Ability to cost load scheduling functions and coordinate for monthly billing
* Knowledge of administration, management, road construction materials and tools
* Knowledge of public safety and security issues and regulations
* Proficient in MS Office, Project and Excel
