The Internal Systems Administrator is our backstage expert, responsible for providing technical support to the Executech Staff by resolving various service issues daily. We need someone with a commitment to excellence and has demonstrated being personable, helpful, and driven. You will manage the ticket queue and will work in a team environment to enhance your knowledge. Candidates, must be self-motivated, possess a love for documentation and demonstrate critical thinking skills.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
The following is a list of tasks/duties, to be performed. This is not a complete list of tasks/duties, as there will be additional responsibilities assigned as needed.
- Complete high-level ticketed support items in a timely fashion.
- Maintain and improve current toolsets.
- Documentation of best practices and Standard Operating Procedures of toolsets.
- Work alongside the Director of Central Administration on Internal security, Internal projects and M&A.
This candidate will be expected to build and maintain toolsets as well as diagnose and resolve technical issues across a variety of hardware, software, and networking topics including but not limited to:
- Connectwise Suite (Automate, Control, Manage and Sell)
- Desktop applications and Encryption technologies (Bitlocker, Sophos, etc.)
- Microsoft Azure Active Directory, SQL Server, and Azure Virtual Desktop.
- Virtualization technologies (VMWare, Hyper-V, etc.)
- Storage, Disaster recovery & Backup solutions (Acronis, etc.)
- Network protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, etc.)
- Networking and configurations (Switching, routing, firewalls)
- Office 365 and Azure
- Mobile Device Management administration (Intune)
- Scripting knowledge and syntax (PowerShell, Batch, Automate)
- Custom Reporting and Dashboards (BrightGauge)
- Identity Provider/Multi-Factor Authentication service administration
- VoIP phone systems (8x8 and Yiptel)
Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of IT Systems and Administration experience (with an MSP preferred)
- Expert understanding of remote monitoring, managed services solutions, best practices and standards for service delivery.
- Proficient reporting and data analysis skills to accomplish tasks
- Intermediate knowledge of Windows Operating Systems (both server and desktop)
- Intermediate knowledge of VMWare and Hyper-V Virtualization Solutions
- General knowledge of networking, basic firewall and router management.
- Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
