What are the responsibilities and job description for the AV Stagehand position at Executive AV LLC?
Executive AV is a trusted multimedia that creates exceptional meetings, presentations, business convention and special events. Our goal is to give our clients the best experience and go the extra mile to provide incredible work for live shows and conferences.
We are currently seeking stagehands to support our company as we work in different locations in Florida.
Stagehands will be working with audio and visual equipment. They will primarily work with leads to unload, organize, build and set equipment. They are expected to be able to work during show days, which can be during days, nights and weekends.
Responsibilities:
- Unloading and loading trucks.
- Setting up and clearing out equipment at the start and end of shows, which includes
o Building projector frames.
o Run cables for audio and video.
o Helping technicians and leads set up heavier equipment.
o Build stages.
o Put up drapes. Etc…
Requirements:
- Must provide excellent customer service skills.
- Reactive to instructions in a potentially shifting work environment.
- Lift 50 to 80 pounds and being able to stand, walk, and climb ladders.
- Have previous customer service experience.
- Must have open availability. (Willing to work days, nights, weekends.)
- Have an affinity to learn and understand connections for audio/video equipment.
- High school diploma/ GED.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- On call
- Overtime
- Weekend availability
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Preferred)
Willingness to travel:
- 75% (Preferred)
