This recruitment is for one position with the Office of Procurement, Acquisition, and Logistics - National Acquisition Center (NAC), National Contract Service (NCS), 797, located at 1st Avenue, 1 Block North of 22nd Street, Bldg 37, Hines, IL.

Qualifications:

To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement, 08/13/2020.

Time-In-Grade Requirement: Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For a GS-07 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-06. The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials.

Specialized Experience GS-07:

Applicants must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-06 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to: experience that has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that are typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled and include: Extensive ability to research errors or investigate complaints that require reconciling incomplete information. Extensive ability to gather and summarize relevant contract information for use by contract specialist. Expertise in acquisition processes and documents to ensure proper forms are used in preparing solicitation and other contract-related documents. Expertise extensive ability to input data; select and sort data; verify and correct data; and format/generate correspondence, contract documents and various reports. Extensive ability to process documents and to maintain accurate contract records.

Applicants must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-05 federal service. Examples of specialized experience include experience that has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that are typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled and include: Ability to research errors or investigate complaints that require reconciling incomplete information. Ability to gather and summarize relevant contract information for use by contract specialist. Expertise in acquisition processes and documents to ensure proper forms are used in preparing solicitation and other contract-related documents. Ability to input data; select and sort data; verify and correct data; and format/generate correspondence, contract documents and various reports. Ability to process documents and to maintain accurate contract records.

Specialized Experience GS-05:

Applicants must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-04 federal service. Examples of specialized experience include experience that has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that are typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled and include: Has the ability as an Entry level to research errors or investigate complaints that require reconciling incomplete information. Has the ability to gather and summarize relevant contract information for use by contract specialist. Has knowledge in acquisition processes and documents to ensure proper forms are used in preparing solicitation and other contract-related documents. Has the ability to input data; select and sort data; verify and correct data; and format/generate correspondence, contract documents and various reports. Has the ability to process documents and to maintain accurate contract records.
