Packaging Associate
EPG is looking for a Packaging Associate to join our team! This position will be required to package products and prepare them for shipment. Responsibilities Install protective wrap and packaging materials on electrical equipment Work from a scissor-lift during packaging activities Cleaning and touch-up painting of units prior to shipment Operating basic tools Clean up rubble, debris, and other waste materials to eliminate possible hazards Assist other production teams as needed Participate in 5S, Lean, and efficiency initiatives as appropriate Using, cleaning, and maintaining variety of hand tools Following safety guidelines and operating in a safe manner Qualifications Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time Ability to work up to 12-hour shifts, weekends as needed Ability to lift, carry, push or pull equipment up to 50 lbs Familiar with using tools and general warehouse equipment preferred Relevant work experience in warehouse and/or manufacturing preferred. MUST BE ABLE TO OPERATE A SISSORLIFT
