Job Summary/Objective
The Driver is responsible for picking up and delivering correspondence and materials to and from specified locations within department designated timelines and safe manner.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
* Deliver and receive materials within designated timelines
* Load and unload materials in designated locations for processing
* Maintain a log of materials delivered and received
* Communicate with management regarding daily volumes delivered and received.
* Maintain positive client relationships and represent SourceHOV in a professional manner
* Monitor vehicle maintenance, complete maintenance log, and inform management of mechanical needs to ensure safety and longevity of the vehicle
* Responsible for purchase card and expense reports pertaining to the SourceHOV vehicle, i.e. gas and maintenance expenses.
* Meet and abide by safety regulations and rules of the road
* Report any and all accidents to management immediately
* Ability to lift 20 - 50 pound containers
* Ability to sit/stand/walk for extended periods of time
Additional responsibilities and duties may be assigned.
Qualifications
* High School Diploma or GED
* Possess valid driver's license and proof of insurance
* Ability to successfully pass drug test
* Must be 21 years or older
* Ability to successfully pass annual motor vehicle background check
* Complies with company driving policies
* Obeys Local, State, and Federal driving regulations
* Previous driving experience preferred.
* CDL preferred
* Good communication skills
* Ability to work independently in a team environment
* Detail-oriented
* Good time management skills
