Information Systems Auditor

The LMP mission is to sustain, monitor, measure, and improve the modernized National-Level logistics Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) support solution; deliver new and enhanced capabilities via planned increments; and support Department of Defense (DoD) and Army ERP integration efforts. LMP leverages an industry leading ERP SAP® based solution, which provides an integrated logistics capability that (1) manages supply, demand, and asset availability and (2) maintains data, financial control and reporting, and distribution. The LMP solution has been deployed since July 2003. The LMP user base is at 50 Army and DoD locations with approximately 23,000 users.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Act as the Audit Remediation Lead for the program

• Responsible for auditing the most complex new and existing information systems applications to ensure that appropriate controls exist, that processing is efficient and accurate, and that information systems procedures are in compliance with corporate standards.

Required Skills:

• Competent to work at the highest level of all phases of information systems auditing.

Required Qualifications:

• 7 years of Department of Defense/Army SAP/ERP experience with Financial Statement Audit Readiness and Remediation as it relates to IT systems, including Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) Guidance, the Federal Information Security Modernization Act, The Federal Information System Controls Audit Manual (FISCAM).

• 5 years of direct audit experience in a large-scale SAP system for General Controls covering Security Management, Access Controls, Configuration Management, Segregation of Duties, Contingency Planning, Application Level Controls for Data Management, System Interfaces and Business Process Compliance.

• 3 years of Financial Statement Audit compliance experience with SAP systems in managed service environments.

• 5 years of audit compliance experience with NIST SP 800-53A and the FISCAM control crosswalk.

• 5 years of experience in developing Financial Statement Audit Readiness plans and procedures, Corrective Action Plans, and Plans of Action and Milestones (POAM) associated with large-scale Department of Defense/Army SAP/ERP systems and responding to DoD/Army Independent Public Accounts for Financial Statement Audits.

• 3 years of Financial Statement Audit attestation experience to include testing planning, execution, post testing follow up, mapping business process flows across SAP modules, to clearly communicate attestation requirements to all SAP functional and technical teams.

• 3 years of experience with Financial Statement Audit Reporting and Opinions, Disclaimer process and intent to disclaim and in defining material weakness detection, prevention, and remediation.
