Role Overview: We are looking for a go getter person who can define:Analytic strategies to meet the demands of business requirementsTechnical requirements of the analytic solutionsData requirements of the analytic solution processesThe person will be part of the Data Science team for a major Insurance client. He/ She will work with different stakeholders as SME for data engineeringEngages in technical problem solving across multiple technologies; often needs to develop new solutionsA typical work day will involve working with stakeholders in individual contributor.A suitable candidate should have 5-8 years of experience in a similar role and should possess a go -getter attitude. He/ She should be able to deal with ambiguity.Experience in insurance preferred but not mandatory. Key Responsibilities & Skillsets: Common Skillsets:4 years of experience in analytics ETL, Python and associated data engineering jobs.Experience with AWS services like – Glue, Lambda, EMR, Redshift, RDS (Preferred)Excellent communication & presentation skillsExperience in managing Python codes and collaborating with customer on model evolutionGood knowledge of data base management and SQL, Python (expertise), Good to have- Hadoop/Spark, HIVESuperior analytical and problem solving skillsShould be able to work on a problem independently and prepare client ready deliverable with minimal or no supervisionGood communication skill for client interactionData Management Skillsets:Ability to understand data models and identify ETL optimization opportunities.
