Site Manager
Lead and develop the people and processes associated with a manufacturing site. Adapt and manage the site with overall responsibility for planning, budgeting, implementing, and maintaining site resources and activities. Successfully engage a cross-functional team to ensure the achievement of manufacturing goals for Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety, and Morale. Build and refine processes to ensure overall manufacturing system excellence.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Represents the site as the prime internal and external contact
- Develop and lead direct reports and first-line supervisors through active coaching
- Establish organizational structures and communication mechanisms, subject to upper management approval
- Interprets, executes, and recommends modifications to organizational policies
- Approve the planning and directing of site resources and equipment layout
- Oversee the hiring, loading, and training methods for site staff
- Support and positively influence lean manufacturing initiatives
- Proactively develop and maintain effective working relationships with and between other sites, functional organizations, and site internal departments
- Maintain a hands on presence with employees on the production floor
- Support health and safety standards and ensure compliance
- Effectively manage costs and identify opportunities for increased efficiencies.
- Implement strategies and action plans to ensure site support of company strategic initiatives.
- Improve part quality
- Develop tools and communication channels to ensure positive customer relations
- Active engagement in community relationships and in factory tours
- Ensure success of factory execution to long term objectives and increased capability
- Lead with humility and respect every individual
Required Skills

Fully Proficient Qualifications
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience
- 10 years previous leadership
- 15 years experience in manufacturing environment
- High level of emotional intelligence
- Strong People orientation
- Drive for improvement
