Product Manager for Mobility
This is an exciting opportunity for a new Product Manager to join the People team at Expedia Group! This role will be responsible for Expedia’s global mobility products that help our employees flex and move around the world. This leader will implement new products as our industry grows and adapts, as well as manage and improve upon existing mobility products.
What you’ll do:
Own & innovate existing workflows and processes
Design, test, implement, and maintain new workflows by
Defining product vision, strategy, and roadmap
Gathering, managing, and prioritizing requirements
Tracking product performance and utilizing data driven decisions for product improvements
Gathering customer feedback. Running mobility office hours for managers & listening sessions
Leading new designs & managing relationships with vendors and contractors
Partnering with the business on existing workflows and new human centered design requirements
Coordinating across the people team regarding new launches
Implementing process automation & simplifications
Documenting and problem solving on existing standards
Gaining stakeholder trust by effectively addressing their concerns to further long-term interests
Utilizes understanding of current business processes, objectives, and challenges to suggest solutions and improvements
Building and maintaining specialized knowledge base regarding the HR technical area and relevant internal policies and procedure
Identifying the type of resources required to support a project, and making recommendations for specific people, technology, partners, etc.
Developing project plans, defines timeframe, and Monitoring progress to meet project milestones, timelines, and requirements
Keeping current on laws, controls and regulatory requirements framework and structure
Addressing legal and regulatory requirements (e.g., reporting mandates, compliance requirements)
Building advanced knowledge of internal and external market control environments
Utilizing broad knowledge of the organization’s talent philosophy and compliance objectives to administer immigration/mobility/mobility tax programs
Collaborating within a team to create key performance indicators and metrics; uses dashboards to monitor and assess team performance (e.g., efficiency and effectiveness)
Who you are:
5 years of related professional experience
Excellent level of understanding product ownership, process improvement, and problem solving
Excellent time and workload management skills; ability to prioritize and lead multiple complex projects
Shows judgement when analyzing situations and making data driven decisions with high attention to detail
Ability to present data in an engaging and relevant format
Demonstrated project management leadership. Strong consulting, partnership and influencing skills
Understanding of mobility flows & best practices
Awareness of human-centered design methodology
Proficient in all Microsoft products, service now, and workday
Working knowledge of immigration/mobility/mobility tax policies and processes in line with industry standards and able to come up with creative solutions is preferred
Knowledge of global legal and compliance requirements
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with teams on workstreams, projects and processes that impact the work of the Mobility team
Demonstrated understanding of HR technical/professional best practices and application
High performing individual contributor who consistently applies and sometimes enhances - immigration/mobility/mobility tax capabilities, principles, and playbooks to solve complex business issues and opportunities
Operates largely independently and mentors junior colleagues
