Digital Product Strategist

Expedient is a provider of digital infrastructure (multi-cloud platforms, data hosting & security and data center infrastructure as a service) solutions. Expedient provides the means for its clients to transition to the cloud, enabling them to focus on strategic business innovation while the Expedient team handles the IT needed to support it.

If so Expedient may be a good fit for you as a Digital Product Strategist, your main objective will be to be an evangelist for Expedient in getting the multi-cloud message out to the industry and our prospects. 

You will be relied upon to work with the marketing team to create and evangelize our company messages out to the industry by engaging in marketing strategy and planning, content creation and delivery (blogs, white papers, etc) and ongoing evangelization (webinars, conference presentations, social media posts and other tip of funnel marketing & sales activities). 

You will also be relied upon to work with the sales team to get the multi-cloud message out to their prospects and clients by creating sell sheets, playbooks and training, engaging in sales calls and participating in and facilitating multi-cloud strategy workshops. 

Finally, you will also be relied upon to learn and amplify the voice of the client within the organization.  You'll conduct market research through methods like surveys, polls, focus groups, analyst research and statistical analysis within the market. Once you've been able to collect considerable data, your task will be to convey your findings in a relatable, easy-to-understand manner to the appropriate people within the company so they can then make an informed decision about the direction product development and marketing should take.  You will also play a big role in determining optimal product experience for our clients. 

A successful candidate will be well-versed in a broad range of infrastructure and software development topics with a heavy emphasis on cloud and digital infrastructure technologies. This position requires superior documentation and communication skills and the ability to work on a team, cross functionally with members of our other internal departments and with our clients.

This position would ideally be located in an existing Expedient market cities, but we are open to consider any location in the U.S. for the right talent.

Qualifications of the Digital Product Strategist:

• Experience as a technology evangelist, advocate or technical trainer
• Experience presenting at technical meetups, conferences, etc.
• Experience writing technical blog posts/articles
• Compelling verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge and experience in cloud infrastructure
• Knowledge and experience in data center infrastructure, virtualization, networking and security
• Knowledge and experience in application development and automation
• Ability to do market research and recommend strategy
• A very strong work ethic and results-driven attitude
• Bachelor / Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field is a plus

• Passion for learning technologies and new ideas
• Flexibility to be available for occasional travel for speaking engagements when required
