Job Description
Experian’s Oxygen software framework links financial behavior data at massive scale to enable consumers across the globe access credit. Oxygen’s high throughput and high frequency pipelines ingest billions of data events every hour to generate behavioral states and financial risk scores. As the Scrum Master for a highly talented team, you will have the opportunity to facilitate the creation and enhancement of innovative products that positively impact the financial lives of people across the globe.
Responsibilities:
The Scrum Master will provide leadership on a range of activities such as:
- Coaching and motivating team members to achieve higher levels of Agile maturity through self-organization, iterative development and other Scrum principles and techniques.
- Guiding the Scrum team to focus on creating high-value increments that meet the Definition of Done.
- Organizing and leading all Scrum ceremonies and ensuring they are positive, productive, and timeboxed.
- Removing impediments to the Scrum team’s progress, informing stakeholders of issues and risks, and facilitating collaboration towards resolution.
- Working with Project and Program Managers to prepare reports on the progress of deliverables, and monitoring KPIs related to schedules and finances using Earned Value Management.
- Keeping track of resource allocations for each customer project.
- Making sure all entries in the Jira tool are up to date and accurate.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
- 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master for a software development team.
- Experience with LeSS Framework preferred.
- Expertise in all areas of the Jira tool, including charts, reports and dashboards.
- Understanding of software development life cycle processes and ability to acquire the necessary technical overview of software products.
- Detail-oriented with effective organizational skills and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
