Job Description:
- This contract UX Writer/Content Strategist will play a pivotal role in defining and implementing the content strategy for our digital platforms on a contractual basis.
- With a focus on user experience, this role requires the ability to craft compelling and user-centered copy that guides users through our platforms, while also contributing to the overall content strategy that aligns with our business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers, product managers, and developers to create user-centric copy that enhances the overall user experience.
- Write and optimize microcopy, instructional text, and other UX elements to facilitate intuitive user interactions.
- Help develop and execute a content strategy for our public website and customer portals, ensuring alignment with user needs and business goals.
- Create and maintain content style guides and best practices for consistent messaging and tone across all digital touchpoints.
- Use data-driven insights, including A/B testing, to enhance content effectiveness and user engagement.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure regulatory compliance and industry standards for all content.
- Partner with the broader content team to integrate UX writing into the overall content strategy.
- Participate in user research to gain insights into user behaviors and needs.
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in content strategy, with a focus on UX writing, preferably in the healthcare or insurance industry.
- Strong portfolio showcasing both content strategy and UX writing samples.
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with design tools like Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
