Description:
This position is responsible for assisting the Land Program Manager in implementing and managing Silversea land products and ensuring inventory is properly maintained per voyage, all while meeting performance and cost criteria within a specified budget and timetable. This position will also look after guests' bookings, design and sell concierge arrangements direct to guests and/or travel agents and assist and cooperate with various projects required or as needed by the department.
Key Responsibilities:
Tour database and Inventory
o Prepares and maintains programs' day to day descriptions in Word; carefully proofreading all documents to ensure accuracy of information, spelling and grammar before distributing to other departments and applying to Silversea's website.
o Distribute Land programs manifests and space review reports to ground operators and shipboard staff as per schedule
Concierge Arrangement
o Develop high-quality customized programs and sell concierge arrangements according to guests needs and requests for their upcoming voyage: pre-cruise or post cruise.
Booking handling
o Monitoring the inventory per voyage and per ship and act accordingly to analyze the need to increase the capacities based on demand.
o Communicate with ground operators to secure additional space or amenities based on inbound requests.
o Responsible for handling all communication with internal departments and travel agents if any changes to programs arise.
Essential qualifications and skills:
* Detailed oriented, organized and proactive.
* Ability to multi-task, prioritize and problem solve in a deadline-oriented atmosphere.
* Flexibility in terms of dealing with changing priorities and dealing with multiple projects simultaneously.
