Regional IT Support Specialist II
Reports To: Solutions Helpdesk Manager
Responsibilities
- Implement hardware and support software applications on network peripherals, Microsoft servers, and PC/Mac
- Technical support at the network level: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security
- Communication with clients as required: keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes or agreed outages
- MS Windows OS / Mac OS printing experience and general support
- Print driver setup / best practices
- Documentation of work performed in tickets and configuration creation in our PSA and other documentation systems
- Timely communication with coworkers on MS Teams and Outlook Job Related Dimensions Position Description
-Strong understanding of Servers, PC/Mac/ Firewalls, Switches, and Routers function on a network - Track record of integrity and trustworthiness with confidential/sensitive information.
- Very strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills are essential.
- Takes ownership of job responsibilities with personal pride and accountability.
- Ability to work independently with little supervision required.
- Ability to remain calm while working under pressure in a busy environment.
- Ability to work within the timeframe of standard policies and procedures and not miss deadlines/due dates.
