Responsibilities
- Teach music: Instruct students in music theory, harmony, score and sight reading, composition, and music appreciation.
- Develop curriculum: Plan and prepare music lessons in accordance with students' levels and objectives.
- Assess student performance: Conduct regular assessments of student performance, provide feedback and guidance to help students improve their musical skills.
- Organize performances: Arrange recitals and other performance opportunities for students to showcase their musical talent.
- Maintain records: Keep accurate records of students' progress and development.
- Collaborate with colleagues: Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to plan and coordinate work, share resources and methods, and promote a harmonious work environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Music Education or a related field.
- State teaching certification.
- Proven experience as a Music Teacher.
- Strong knowledge of music theory and different music genres.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
