We are looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented Accountant to join our Accounting/Finance team. This position will primarily be responsible for Accounts Receivable processes including invoicing, collections, and bank reconciliations, as well as other tasks as needed. 

Candidates should display a positive and proactive attitude, strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize and multitask and be a strong communicator.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation and reconciliation of a complex billing process
• Customer account and GL reconciliations
• Conduct account research and analysis, including monitoring customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities
• Strategically prioritize and follow up on all outstanding balances
• DSO management
• Cash application
• Assist in month-end close process
• Interact with customers to resolve outstanding issues or past due amounts
• Provide thorough, efficient and accurate account updates
• Identify and recommend process efficiency improvements

Qualifications to Thrive:

• Knowledge of GAAP
• Knowledge of accounts receivable and collections
• Ability to effectively communicate, especially through email and over the phone
• Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
• Proficient in relevant computer applications
• Negotiation and conflict management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Internet industry experience a plus, especially dealing with affiliate relationships
• Previous month-end close and journal entry preparation experience
• Knowledge and experience in NetSuite
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
