Responsibilities
- Determine project specifications and acquire the necessary materials for completion
- Develop scope and parameters for project design and implementation
- Identify project responsibilities, delegating phases and elements to the appropriate personnel
- Interface with suppliers for manufacturing feasibility, validation, and other engineering activities as specified for the assigned commodity
- Provide support to the new-business and launch team
- BoM validation & release of components
- CAD checks on the commodity module
Qualifications
- 2 years experience in a similar position
- 3D CAD software knowledge such as Catia V5/6 or equivalent, is an advantage
- Proficient in MS Word / Excel / PowerPoint
- Organizational and communication skills
- Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines
- Experience supporting engineering change request
- Proven understanding of compliance and quality assurance guidelines and best practices
- Language: Advanced English (writing and speaking) / French is an advantage
