Azure Administrator

Overview

You will join our high performance team of Developement and Digital specialist and work on technical projects using available frameworks and tools to establish plans for client projects.

Essential Skills

• Excellent client-facing skills. The successful candidate will need to work closely with the Client's project BA to harvest monitoring requirements from the applications owners and implement accordingly.
• People management skills - introducing and building ways in which people can learn from each other, encouraging mentoring and the transfer of knowledge by designing and delivering learning interventions
• Team work and emotional intelligence
• Good self-management – continuous performance is both an objective and a mind-set
• Has an innovative approach – a bold thinker and doer, matching creativity with vigilance
• High value on openness and transparency

Experience

• Must have Microsoft Azure Administrator experience.
• Experience of setting-up and configuring monitoring (OS and Application/Service) within Azure Log Analytics and Azure Application Insights is essential
• Must have strong PowerShell scripting capabilities (will be required to develop bespoke monitoring scripts)
• Worked with Terraform and ADO CI/CD
• Worked in agile delivery methodoloygy delivering change in sprints.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Confident self-starter who can deliver with minimal supervision on tight delivery dates. Must be able to work in fast paced environments
• Experience working within the Financial or Insurance sector.
• Available to be on-site two days a week in central Client office
