Electrical Assembler

EXPLEO USA is looking for an Electrical Assembler to join a dynamic and expanding team in Sandpoint, ID.

Responsibilities:

• Builds simple to advanced cable assemblies, wire harnesses and integrated rack assemblies
• Demonstrates proper use of basic hand tools: heat gun, hand crimpers, power screwdriver, solder pot, ruler, and other machines such as pinning machines and automatic wire strippers
• Identifies wires with use of basic color code sequence
• Complete the assembly of electrical components by means of:
• Able to perform back shell installation, crimp, strip, jacket removal, connector loading, lace-tie, solder (to required customer specification), solder sleeves, install various types of heat shrink, tubing, and woven braid
• Utilize hand tools and automated machines and components in conjunction with customer drawings, parts list, bill of materials, wire diagrams, schematics, tables, and work instructions.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• 1 year of experience in assembling electrical harnesses (or related experience)
• Experience in aerospace industry (preferred)
• Knowledge in IPC/WHMA-A-620 (or Certified preferred)
• Ability to build cables and wire harnesses using manufacturing instructions, while meeting all workmanship standards
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• 3 months contract, it can be extended depending on performance
• Salary information: $29 USD per hour $385 per week as per diem
• Travel expenses: To be covered
