Responsibilities
- GPHR (pronounced gopher) is the client’s Consumer Innovation Studio.
Leads an agile, globally distributed, multi-disciplinary team, known as a ‘pod’, to design, develop and sustain digital solutions that enable integrated physical-digital experiences for specific consumer segment(s).
Applies GPHR’s experience strategy and design principles to business requests prioritized via GPHR intake process to create a backlog of requirements for solution design and development.
Leads the pod to research, design, develop, prototype, test, and release interoperable solutions in the organization’s ecosystem.
Ensures that solutions are pragmatic and intuitive for target consumer segments and include analytics to evidence and advance the experience strategy.
Maintains a roadmap of releases and features for products and solutions expressed in terms of consumer capabilities, features and technical specification, and business value.
Collaborates closely with functional areas and department leads to develop detailed requirements, design, and test digital solutions for target consumer segments.
Through these engagements with functional areas, the Prodcut Manager promulgates GPHR principles of experience and solution design, consumer insights and product development across releases.
Leads education and handoff to production support teams when product is in general release. This includes features and content, design constraints and consumer analytics.
Shares responsibility with production support team to sustain digital solutions for target consumer segments.
- Lead agile, globally distributed, multi-disciplinary pods to review prioritized work requests and develop detailed business and technical requirements and design options in collaboration with functional areas and department units.
- Create roadmap of releases, features, and benefits to be accrued from each release.
- Lead pods to design solutions, create prototypes, test, and release digital solutions that adhere to organization and industry standards.
- Effectively work with a globally distributed workforce of designers, engineers, quality analysts and functional leads.
- Identify OKRs/KPIs for digital solutions, ensure analytics are in place to measure KPIs.
- Lead product working sessions with stakeholders and assist with test scenarios.
- Collaborate with functional areas and departments to test solutions and incorporate into daily operations prior to release.
- Act as a product expert and champion when engaging with stakeholders and delivery partners.
- Ensure experiences are delivered “true to their intent” and that trade-offs made in design/development are thoughtfully considered.
- Help communicate and market the solutions and features developed to achieve KPIs.
- Act as the customer advocate when articulating the user’s needs by ensuring the customer’s expectations are met when designing new features.
- Facilitate code scans and security reviews.
- Report progress on workstreams and projects as required by the organization.
- Effectively hand-off product releases to support teams.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education/experience.
Preferred:
- Master’s Degree in a related field.

- 3 – 5 years of experience in consulting, agency and/or, software development environments.
- 1 – 3 years’ experience design, consumer product development and marketing.
- Ability to translate vision of experience design into digital products and solutions.
- Experience effectively leading “flat” teams who are multi-disciplinary in nature.
- Effective communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to work and engage with all levels within the organization at all stages of the journey.
- Good understanding of technology
Preferred:
- Healthcare experience is a plus but not required
- 3 – 5 years’ experience design, consumer product development and marketing
