Our Opportunity

We are currently seeking a talented Marketing Coordinator in our Oakland, CA office to support a variety of strategic and tactical marketing initiatives. This role will require you to learn quickly and support the department with events, digital, content, and other types of marketing and communications.

You will be responsible for

• Supporting end-to-end logistics for live and digital event programs
• Supporting queries and/or analytics using department software tools and CRM
• Assisting with the coordination, compiling, and updating databases for events and speaking engagements
• Supporting administrative tasks related to tracking, scheduling, and reporting the content pipeline for insights, events, and professional profiles
• Creating, updating, and scheduling content for external or internal marketing campaigns on all channels including social media posts, website articles and events, email, landing pages, and company intranet
• Working closely with designers, writers, and other team members to ensure marketing assets are delivered on time
• Preparing regular reports for digital channels and marketing campaigns
• Conducting and organizing research to inform digital strategies and planning  

You will have the following skills and qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communication, journalism, or related field
• 1-5 years of corporate or academic experience in a marketing coordination role
• Proficiency in MS Office and Excel Knowledge
• Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms Drupal, HubSpot, Google Analytics, SEO tools, LinkedIn
• Familiarity with email marketing platforms and marketing automation
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and experience with SEM/PPC campaigns
• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to foster collaboration and effectively communicate both in writing and verbally with clients and stakeholders

Compensation

The pay rate for this position is $28.85 - $36.06 depending on experience and capabilities which will be assessed during the interview process.
