We are looking for an enthusiastic Electric Utility Field Technician to join a team of professionals. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions. Responsibilities:
- Responsible for identifying and correctly recording all different attachments (telecom and utility) on electric distribution poles.
- Read and interpret maps and construction prints to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies between the field construction and the design specs.
- Responsible for working independently or with a partner in the field and maintaining streamlined communication with the office personnel.
- Responsible for emailing digital copies of the field data sheets and pictures to the design team in the office.
- Responsible for independently navigating to new locations provided by the design team.
- Willing to travel
- Always follow safety protocols and procedures.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite
Schedule:
- 8 Days on / 6 days off
- 10-12 hr workdays
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
