We are currently seeking a highly motivated and adaptable General Manager to lead our rapidly growing team. We have an amazing market presence, recognizable brand, and great reputation.
The primary objective of the General Manager is to be a direct representative capable of making sound decisions on behalf of Express. General Manager must possess good administrative, public relations and maintenance skills necessary to enhance overall operations. They will supervise, train, and manage personnel in procedures established. The General Manager will make suggestions/recommendations that could enhance or streamline operations, will perform, or supervise certain construction, maintenance, sales, and warehouse functions and be available to assist warehouse, office, and sales personnel in performing required duties.
The General Manager will recruit, hire, and train other personnel for permitted areas and resolve personnel problems, will handle complaints, infractions, etc., which are referred to him/her and take necessary action to resolve these situations. The General Manager will ensure public relations are handled in a courteous and professional manner, both from oneself and other Express employees and Contractors. The General Manager will assist and participate in all phases of fee collection and maintenance as needed, process and maintain all records regarding revenues and provide reports to Express as instructed.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate vendor, product, and installation training as required.
- Employee schedule management
- Coaching and motivation functions of the region
- Perform interviewing functions
- Disciplinary counseling
- Regional Customer relations management
- Perform employee reviews
- Assist in the daily functions of the site Installation Manager, Warehouse Manager and Sales Manager
- Facilitate, monitor, resolve and report all manufacturer claims
- Approve post installation subcontractor payroll
- Facilities management
- Employee training functions
- Prepared detailed reporting as required measuring key indicators as outlined.
- Oversee and assist in all daily functions of the region
- Creates and exhibits a sense of ownership
- Creates and supports a safe and secure work environment
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned
- Provide interdepartmental support as needed
- Promote a positive and professional work environment
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration preferred
- 5 years of proven management experience
- Strong computer and organizational skills
- Technologically proficient in email, Microsoft Suite and CRM software program
- Excellent listening and communication skills
- Positive, Can-do attitude
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with company staff and public
