Role:  Program Manager

Location: Wichita, KS (Onsite)

Full time

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency) 

1. Daily program management throughout the program life cycle.
2. Defining the program governance (controls).
3. Planning the overall program and monitoring the progress.
4. Managing the program’s budget.
5. Managing risks and issues and taking corrective measurements.
6. Coordinating the projects and their interdependencies.
7. Managing and utilizing resources across projects.
8. Managing stakeholders’ communication.
9. Aligning the deliverables (outputs) to the program’s “outcome” with the aid of the business change manager; and
10. Managing the main program documentations such as the program initiation document.
11. Good knowledge and handling of project and program management methodology and techniques.
12. Good understanding of the wider objectives of the program.
13. Ability to work positively with the wide range of individuals involved in program management.
14. Defining the benefits that will realize the strategic objectives of the program.
15. Developing the benefit realization plan. Maintaining overall focus on benefit realization.
16. Optimizing the timing of the release of new deliverables into business operations.
17. Good knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures
18. The ability to find innovative ways to resolve problems.
19. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work with multiple geographically dispersed teams
20. Very Good communication skills.
21. Strong leadership and management skills.

Certification

1. PMP Certification
2. Scrum Master certification
3. Experience with Aerospace Industry/domain is preferred
4. Managing “business continuity” during the change.
5. Preparing affected business areas for transition to the new way of working. Potentially implementing new business processes
