What are the responsibilities and job description for the Entry Level Accountant position at Extension, Inc.?
As the Cession Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing monthly cession statements of captive and non-captive premiums and losses for assigned accounts. Performing required general ledger and premium statistical balancing procedures. Performing required accounting for reinsurance premium and excess losses. Maintaining integrity of the account books and computer files. Establishing communication contacts and solve minor problems with internal and external accounting contacts including agents, insureds, and claims contractors. Maintaining accounting files for prior year information, including any documentation essential to the special handling of assigned accounts.
What We’re Looking For
- Associates in Accounting
- 1 years of Experience in AP/AR, Reconciliations, Journal Entries
- Excel; Basic formulas, prefer; pivot tables, v-lookups
- Good analytical skills, attention to detail, multi task.
