Overview
Exxpress Tire Delivery, a local tire wholesaler, is looking to add an Assistant Operations Manager to our team. Typical Shift: Monday-Friday. Must be able to work some weekends and occasional evening hours as needed.
Salary Position: Base pay: $ 50,000-$65.000 plus a Variable Incentive paid monthy

Responsibilities
- Develop business through collaboration and planning with Regional Director, Account Managers & ADAMs and other program resources
- Monitor sales results vs plan; develops & executes corrective measures to attain/exceed target
- Coordinates sales and promotional activities within the market
- Analyze / identify / conduct training & coaching based on the needs of the sales staff
- Directly manage exempt and non-exempt associates
- Collaborate with the dealers through Account Manager to optimize merchandising components
- Maintain knowledge of current industry trends and share best practices across Exxpress Tire Delivery to support continuous improvement
- Travels through assigned geography to call on regular and prospective customers to manage relationships and solicit new business
- Demonstrate strong, fair, consistent leadership with all associates
- Builds and maintain an environment conducive with the goals and direction of the company
- Protects company brand equity, reputation and assets
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail automotive operations, tire wholesale or equivalent experience in a related environment
- Prior sales experience, preferably in a retail environment or automotive related industry
- Understanding of all aspects of sales process (inventory, inspect, train, sell, retain)
- Applicable communication skills with both internal (sales support, distribution & management) and external (customers).
- Previous personnel management experience preferred
- Proficient computer skills: Must be able to demonstrate proficiency with Excel, Word & Power Point.
- Application of critical thinking skills
