Assurance Services – Supervisor - Service Delivery Center

Your key responsibilities
As the Assurance Supervisor, you will manage the operations of the Assurance Service Delivery Center (SDC), including supervision of Advanced Associates in the quality execution of standardized procedures in accordance with EY audit methodologies and involvement in the stand-up of new services. Interacts closely with and reports to the Assurance Managing Director. Assists Assurance Advanced Associates and Associates in reaching their full potential through training and development, willingly addressing questions, contributing constructively as a coach and providing timely on-the-job feedback. Works with team members to set goals and responsibilities as it relates to their specific work on their team.

Supervises procedures performed by Assurance Advanced Associates- Facilitates training and coaching for Assurance Advanced Associates and Associates
- Provides oversight to ensure execution of standardized procedures as defined in a timely fashion to meet client service team deadlines and with quality documentation standards.
- Reviews identified exceptions or non-reoccurring situations and ensures communication to the client service delivery team for resolution
- Ensures quality in delivering client service by supervising the execution of the procedures as defined
- Actively participates in the design of process standardization in connection with the launch of new SDC services
- Oversees the execution of well-defined processes, procedures and protocols as defined in accordance with EY GAM and direction of the client service team. Unusual non-reoccurring situations are communicated to client service team members.
- Analyzes evidence, reaches conclusions, identifies non-compliance while applying a balanced view.
- Identifies and implements improvements in existing processes, following defined review and approval protocols
- Creates and defines new processes, procedures and protocols in connection with the launch of new services.
To qualify for the role you must have
Undergraduate’s degree with at least 6 hours of accounting- 5 years of accounting and/or auditing experience
- Experience working with accounting and auditing concepts
- Experience supervising others in the context of executing of standardized and centralized processes
- Attention to detail and diligence in resolution of issues
- Ability to prioritize to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to multi-task on projects and assignments
- Ability to plan ahead and anticipate potential problems before they arise
- Proficient MS Office skills, specifically Microsoft Excel and Word
- Ability to learn new software tools
