Summary
The Learning Associate role works within the delivery workstream of Learning Enablement to coordinate all logistics associated with virtual and in-person learning including identifying appropriate facilities for delivering learning and setting up connected classrooms. This role manages the review and reconciliation of registration records to determine the amount of Continuing Professional Education (CPE) awarded for classes. This position coordinates the activities of the Learning Liaisons in offices where there are no Learning Associates.
Essential Functions of the Job;
- Under limited direction, analyze course logistical requirements. This includes determining appropriate facilities to support in-person learning including use of connected classrooms
- Coordinate and oversee the activities needed (e.g. confirm space is secured, materials and logistics have been finalized) from the Learning Liaisons to support classes being deployed in secondary locations.
- Review and reconcile class rosters provided by Delivery Specialist against final attendance for physical and virtual classrooms to ensure accurate awarding of CPE.
- Counsel facilitators on the process for awarding CPE through the ABC attestation process, stressing the risk involved in non-compliance.
- Under limited direction, initiate process for set up and publication of classes in Learning Management System. This occurs if multiple classes of the same course are being deployed, or a large-scale conference has been scheduled.
- Work with Delivery leadership to identify opportunities for improvement and implement procedural enhancements as directed.
Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities;
- Understands the firm’s learning catalog and can consult with learners on how it relates to their needs.
- Work with new technologies including the connected classroom platform, where it is critical to think through the user experience for both facilitators and learners.
- Establish reason for no-show for select programs and provide analysis showing % attendance against target audience to Delivery Specialist.
- Prioritize daily work while managing multiple projects simultaneously, sometimes in different offices/locations.
- Must be able to identify and resolve challenges and potential issues early, consider various possible courses of action and recommend appropriate course of action. (eg solve technology issues during a class).
Knowledge and Skills Requirements;
- Working knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors
- A foundational knowledge of EY learning opportunities.
- Identifies and resolves issues that impact the delivery of quality service.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient MS Office Skills with competency in the use of Excel (pivot tables, vlookups etc.) and Teams.
- Knowledge of virtual collaboration tools (e.g. Zoom, MS Teams).
- Associate degree or equivalent work experience required, Bachelor degree preferred.
- 1-3 years of learning, meeting and event services, or hospitality experience.
- Experience working with connected classroom platform
- Experience in a professional services or corporate environment.
