This role is a technical senior in the Supply Chain Technology practice at Ernst & Young LLP. You will be working in the digital grid domain, using leading intelligent grid operations technology products, including implementing ADMS and DERMS. You will be responsible for developing integrations with upstream and downstream systems, as well as working with onshore and offshore teams.
Your key responsibilities
- Play a key role in designing, developing, testing and deploying ADMS and DRMS packages.
- Design technical solutions for data migration and integrations and reporting solutions for ADMS and DERMS projects or similar intelligent grid operations technologies.
- Map data between ADMS and DERMS packages (such as OSI and GE) and the standard source, such as ESRI GIS, CIS systems and weather forecast applications.
- Confirm that leading practices and quality processes are followed by enforcing coding standards (SDLC guidelines) and performing unit tests and code reviews.
- Develop solutions following agile and DevOps methodologies.
- Translate business and functional requirements into the technical design and approaches to confirm that they meet agreed-upon business requirements; seek and evaluate alternative approaches that simplify the design, reduce resource requirements and improve the user experience.
- Work with the delivery lead on solution deployment approach and estimation.
- Team with client technology professionals and work in project teams through agreed-upon phases of requirements defining, designing, developing, testing, training and rolling out an ADMS and DERMS project.
- Establish and track quality-related KPIs, quality checkpoints, quality assessment reports and corrective measures for technical development.
- Take ownership of deliverables and conduct reviews with clients and seek sign-offs.

To qualify for the role, you must have
- A bachelor's degree and three or more years of related work experience in digital grid solution development
- Two years of technical development experience (conversions, reports, interfaces, etc.)
- Experience with agile practices and associated tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to clearly communicate with leadership and colleagues about technical capabilities, limitations, issues and recommendations
- The ability to quickly diagnose and troubleshoot issues
- Flexibility and a willingness to travel. Must have a valid driver's license
Ideally, you'll also have
- A degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, MIS, Mathematics or a related field (MBA or MS degree preferred)
- Prior consulting experience
