```Overview:```
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Optometric Technician to join our team. As an Optometric Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting our optometrist in providing exceptional eye care services to our patients. If you have a passion for patient care and possess the necessary skills and knowledge, we would love to hear from you.

```Duties:```
- Perform preliminary tests on patients, including measuring visual acuity, depth perception, and color vision
- Conduct diagnostic tests such as tonometry, visual field testing, and retinal imaging
- Assist with contact lens fittings and provide instructions on proper lens insertion and removal
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure all equipment is clean and functioning properly
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including medical history and test results
- Educate patients on proper eye care practices and answer any questions or concerns they may have
- Assist with front desk duties such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and verifying insurance information

```Requirements:```
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Familiarity with optical procedures and equipment
- Experience with medical coding is preferred
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to make patients feel comfortable during examinations
- Proficient in taking vital signs accurately
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for retail transactions
- Experience with medical records management is a plus
